Red Base have been reading a story called Handa's Surprise. Is is set in Africa and is about a girl called Handa who visits her friend with a basket of fruit. We enjoyed acting out the story, dressing up and tasting African fruit. We have even set up a fruit shop in our class! All of our artwork this half term reflects our enjoyment of everything African - animals, colours and patterns.
