Purple & Amber Base Farm Visit

On Tuesday 2 April, nine students from Purple and Amber Base went to St Leonard's Farm at Esholt. We had lots of fun in the huge playbarn, climbing high up to a big slide, sharing the ball pool with friends, crawling and squeezing through difficult spaces.
Amber Base students were brave and confident in this challenging environment. After lunch, we visited the animals. We saw goats and kids in small pens, donkeys in the field, big black pigs, horses and lots of chickens and geese. Purple Base students were excited to see animals that they have been learning about all term. All the students showed strength of character by exploring this unfamiliar environment and resilience by trying new things all day.
