Christmas Card Competition

Students across school recently put forward their entries for our Hazelbeck Christmas Card Competition. All the work entered was of an exceptional standard with students’ creative, sensory and in some case independence skills on show for all to see. Students had clearly worked hard to come up with an idea, whether supported or unsupported by our wonderful staff teams, to create a lovely card which depicted a Christmas scene or character.

We had entries from the whole school cohort, and each individual card was beautifully presented. Headteacher Lisa Little was called to choose three winners which met specific criteria encompassing independence, thought and creativity or a sensory approach. It was a very difficult task as all the cards had great potential in being shortlisted, but in the end the cards made by Matthew, Henry and Ismail were the chosen winners.

Some of the shortlisted entries will be made into Christmas card packs to be sold to parents and the wider school community.
Well done to all our wonderful Hazelbeck students and staff!
