Fourteen of our Post 16 students from Hazelbeck visited Nell Bank outdoor learning centre in Ilkley for a one night residential in April. They enjoyed den building, looking for mini beasts, pond dipping, adventure playground, obstacle course, going on the ‘train’, and being in the outdoors in this beautiful environment. The students coped well with eating and sleeping in an unfamiliar place. Staff were amazed by how strong, courageous and resilient the students were in the activities and their attitudes. What a privilege to spend time there with those students and staff.
