Our Facilities and Prices
One of Beckfoot’s outdoor facilities is its fantastic fully enclosed third generation AstroTurf. It is marked out for a full sized 11-a-side game or can be divided into marked thirds for 7-a-side games. The AstroTurf is equipped with 1 pair of full sized goals, 4 pairs of 5-a-side goals with individual recesses and a pair of full sized hockey nets. Each third can be divided either through the markings or by the use of netting, to section each third off from one another. The AstroTurf can be lit up by our floodlights either as the whole pitch or each third as required.
If the AstroTurf is too big for your requirements, Beckfoot has a fully enclosed third generation multi-use games area (MUGA) ideal for smaller groups or juniors.The Muga is equipped with one pair of 5-a-side goals and its own floodlight system that can be used when required.
There are a total of 5 courts available on evenings and weekends, one polymeric and four asphalt, that can be used for tournaments or individual groups. The set of 4 courts can be divided into half with netting if required.
Beckfoot has 2 multi-purpose large grassed areas each individually enclosed and marked for football, athletics and rounders seasonally. Portable goalposts and rounder’s posts are available upon request. The grass pitch can only be used for low impact junior activities.
One of the grassed pitches is equipped with a new polyurethane 4 lane 100 metre running track and polyurethane long and triple jump track and sand pit as well as a shot put circle and grass space to use as a javelin and discus throw area. This pitch is also marked with a 300 metre running track during the athletics season.
The multi-purpose sports hall offers a total of 572m2 of space. It is marked with 4 full sized badminton courts, 5-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and netball. It has retractable football and basketball nets which can be set up as required to suit individual needs. As well as this, there are indoor cricket nets with matting that can be pulled out as required.
For smaller groups the multi-purpose gymnasium and activity hall is ideal. Both have a total of 175m2 of space each and are ideal for gymnastics, martial arts, table tennis as well as fitness and dance classes. Heated to 33-35oC and makes it ideal for rehabilitation, learning to swim, aqua aerobics and water safety classes.The pool has full disabled access as well as two changing rooms with showers.
Beckfoot has a host of changing and shower facilities available in the school’s sports block.
There are two separate male and female changing rooms both with showers.
