Maths has a strong visual and structured teaching approach which incorporates visual scaffolds like number lines, charts, and pictorial representations. Students are engaged using games, puzzles, and activities to make maths fun. Interests are incorporated into maths tasks. Classes follow consistent routines and use clear, step-by-step sequenced instructions to reduce confusion. Technology and assistive tools are utilised like talking calculators, apps, or interactive whiteboards. Support is provided through small group work or individual interventions. The use of continuous, formative assessment help to identify gaps in understanding along with providing immediate, positive, and constructive feedback to reinforce learning.
