Grandma Goes Through the Roof!

This term Key Stage 3 & 4 have been learning about famous people. One of the famous people we concentrated on was Roald Dahl and his well known book 'George's Marvellous Medicine'. Students have been looking through the story, acting out scenes and making their own disgusting medicines. To mark the end of the fantastic work the students have undertaken, we went to the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds, to watch the live stage version of George's Marvellous Medicine. It was a fantastic trip and all the students came away with lots of funny memories of George and Grandma.
Student thoughts about the play:
"I liked it when Grandma had giant arms." Nazim - Yellow Base
"The Chicken ate the medicine and it grew really big." Farhaan - Sky Blue Base
"I liked it when Dad said, 'Grandma had a mouth like a dog's bottom'!" Jaq - Sky Blue Base
