School Nursing Team
The School Nursing Special Needs Team (SNSN)
Hazelbeck School’s Nursing Service promotes the physical, mental and emotional health of students.
School Nursing has changed a lot over the years, and these days the role is quite diverse - they are not the school’s ‘First Aiders’, or ‘Nit Nurses’ any more! So you may be asking, “What do they actually do then”?! They visit school regularly to help ensure that your child’s holistic health needs are met while they are receiving their education. They support and promote the physical, mental and emotional health of students. Healthy, happy children get the most out of their education and their goal is to help all our young people to achieve this.
