As part of our bid for World Class School status, several of our students have been working with a group of Beckfoot students to deliver a social responsibility piece.

Our students decided to prepare an Easter meal in school for a group of residents from a care home in our local community.
The students first went to visit the residents to survey their favourite foods. They then ordered the required ingredients and, by working together, prepared the food themselves. After they had eaten, they were treated to Easter activities including an Easter Egg hunt in our sensory gardens, making Easter finger puppets, knitting and solving an Easter-themed crossword that had been created by the students themselves.

The residents had a great time and it was lovely to see students from both schools working independently as a cohesive and responsible team.
