Communities Topic

Our Orange Area launched this term's topic - Communities, by having a 'Wow' event.

Different people from our local Community came in and set up interactive stalls for our students to experience. Police, Firefighters, Gardeners, Librarians, a Doctor, the Nursing Team, an Ice Cream Van and Disability Cricket and Rugby Coaches all turned up for the event! Our Sixth Form Students made and set up a hot dog stall to provide refreshments for all! 

Students had opportunities to try on police helmets, go on board a fire engine and sound the siren, learn how to pass a rugby ball, plant their own seeds, take away a complimentary book, explore a skeleton and much more. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed interacting with our visitors.
