DofE Bronze
Our students who recently went on the practice expedition recently undertook their Bronze Award Expedition.
This was an amazing feat for our students. They set off walking from school, along a section of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and then up to Shipley Glen. From there, they walked along the Glen and continued upwards to the top of Baildon Moor, where they took in the views over West Yorkshire.
They continued their journey down to Sconce Campsite in Baildon where they camped for the night, before walking back to school the next day. Everyone was exhausted but incredibly proud of themselves. The words of one student were echoed by the others: 'It was tiring but worth it'! Congratulations to the seven students who took part - we hope that many more students will get involved next year.
