Flipping Fantastic!
During our Christianity Week, students learned about Lent and discussed the things which they could give up for the 40 days.
They also learnt about Shrove Tuesday and why we have pancakes on this day, following the theme students from different classes took part in a pancake flipping competition, they had see how many times they could flip the pancake in 1 minute, we had a winner with an impressive 71 flips!
On Friday students from some classes took part in the traditional pancake race, the race was a wonderful experience and provided an opportunity for some positive competition between students and staff!
